◆ MUSIC BINGO · CHEHALIS WA ◆

Name That Tune.

Mixtape Music Bingo hits McFiler's every Thursday at 6 PM. The host cranks the tracks, your card is a grid of song titles, and marking the ones you recognize is the whole game. No questions, no studying, no team — every song that has ever been stuck in your head is finally worth something. Win a game, take 200 loyalty points — that is $10, and it spends on anything.

◆ EVERY WEEK ◆

◆ HOW IT WORKS ◆

Four Steps.

If you have ever played bingo and ever listened to the radio, you already know how to play.

  1. STEP 1

    Grab a Card

Every card is different and every square is a song title. Walk in, grab one from the host, and you're playing — no sign-up sheet, no entry fee, no warm-up act.

  2. STEP 2

    Know the Song

The host drops a track and turns it up. Recognize it, hunt it down on your card, mark the square. No trivia-brain required — if you've heard the song, you're already playing.

  3. STEP 3

    Yell Bingo

Two lines takes the round. Shout it over the music, the host reads your songs back to the whole bar, and everybody finds out whether you really knew that hook. Every game crowns its own winner, and every winner walks off with 200 loyalty points — that is $10, and it spends on anything.

  4. STEP 4

    Play Again

Most nights run 3+ games, each about 40 to 60 minutes to a winner. Roll in late and you haven't missed the night — the next game deals you a fresh card and a fresh shot at the points.

◆ MUSIC BINGO Q&A ◆

Questions?

  • What night is music bingo at McFiler's?

Every Thursday at 6 PM, starting Thursday, August 27 — and every week after that. Same room, same time, new cards every night.

  • How is music bingo different from trivia?

Trivia makes you remember things. Music bingo just asks whether you know the song when it hits — the host plays a clip, you mark the title if it's on your card, and the first card to fill the pattern wins. Easier on the brain than a trivia round, and a lot harder on the volume knob.

  • Do I need a team?

No. Come alone, team up with the next stool over, or pack a whole table. Cards are one per person, so the bigger the group, the more shots your table has at the win.

  • What do you win?

200 loyalty points per game — a $10 value — and every game has a winner. Most nights run 3+ games, depending on how the night runs, so one bad card doesn't end you. The points land on your loyalty account and spend like money at McFiler's, The Hub and the Chehalis Theater.

  • Where can I spend the points?

All over the family — McFiler's, The Hub and the Chehalis Theater. Pizza, drinks, a movie ticket — whatever the night calls for. Win the points on a Thursday here and they spend at all three.

  • Is there a cover charge?

Never. Music bingo at McFiler's is free to play — grab a card, order something at the bar, and you're in the game.

  • Do I need to sign up in advance?

No. Show up any Thursday and the host will hand you a card. Come early if you want a table.

  • Is there music bingo at The Hub too?

Yes. The Hub, our sister bar six miles north in Centralia, runs the same game on Mondays at 6 PM — different room, different crowd, same points.
