How text messaging works for McFiler's: what we send, how you opt in and out, and how we handle your number.

- We never sell or share your number.
How you opt in
You opt in to text messages by checking the SMS consent box at checkout on our online ordering page, mcfilers.com/order (after you enter your name, phone, and email). The box is unchecked by default and is optional — checking it is never required to place an order. The consent box reads:

McFiler's offers SMS text message notifications for:
- Order confirmations (we received your pickup order)
- Ready-for-pickup updates (your order is ready)
This is a transactional program tied to an order you placed. We do not send marketing or promotional texts through it.
Consent & opt-in
By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent box at checkout, you agree to receive text messages from McFiler's related to your order. Message frequency varies based on your orders. Consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of any purchase — you may complete your order without opting in to SMS.
Opt-out
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any message
- Emailing us at hello@mcfilers.com
After opting out you will receive one final confirmation message, and no further texts unless you opt in again.

Message & data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Check with your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan.
Carriers supported
SMS notifications are supported on all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Your phone number is used solely for the order notifications described above. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. Text-messaging opt-in and consent are never shared with any third parties. Numbers are stored securely and associated with your order records, and retained only as long as needed to provide the service you requested.
